What is ClipMate?
ClipMate is a privacy-first, cross-platform clipboard manager that keeps your clipboard history secure on your device. It features memory-only storage by default, instant search, keyboard shortcuts, and optional AI-powered text transformation — all while keeping your data completely private.
Is my clipboard data really private?
Your clipboard data never leaves your device. There's no cloud sync, no servers, and no data collection for clipboard entries. By default, clipboard entries are stored only in memory and disappear when you close the app. You optionally persist pinned items and prompts on your devices with the pro plan.
What platforms are supported?
ClipMate works on macOS 10.15+, Windows 10+, and Linux (Ubuntu/Debian). iOS and Android support are in development.
What are AI-powered prompts?
With optional Text Pilot integration, you can transform clipboard content using AI. Summarize long text, translate languages, format code, or create custom prompts. This feature is opt-in and requires an API key.
Does it work with images and screenshots?
ClipMate supports both text and images from your clipboard.
